a little bit

1. congratulations to my talented cousin nicolle who won the it's a girl thing contest on flickr with this polaroid of sweet little leah - can't wait to see what amazing photos she comes up with on her new holga!

2. been loving whitney's blog lately (and her photos), plus she just moved to se portland!

3. for some reason i just haven't been taking pictures lately, no idea why but it's kinda weirding me out. super busy getting m&m ready, unfortunately my resident geek is mia so it looks like that won't be up until... probably the end of the month.

4. our big plans for last weekend got rained out, hopefully we'll be able to bike around sauvie island this coming weekend (since it's supposed to be in the 80's and sunny - yesss).

5. i am so not ready for fall. i've been leaving the windows open at night still even though it's been in the low 50's. just can't admit summer's almost over...

she's in the shop right now (just a little checkup) but we've had so much fun with her so far. she's a 1999 suzuki marauder gz250 (not to small, not too big) in one of my favorite colors. i've never driven a scooter so i can't compare them but damn, driving a motorcycle is *fun*!

anyway, we're about to have brunch with friends then take our bikes up to sauvie island. hope you're all having a fun holiday weekend!

here it is, my new baby! ok she's not here quite yet but she's so close, i'm hoping two weeks max. (next week we're helping our bffs move from eugene to portland - woot!)

i've been thinking about doing a vintage shop for years (i'm kindof a hoarder. it's a problem). so now i finally have an excuse to grab all that amazing stuff i find but have no use for! of course when i think of alllllll of the wonderful things i left in iowa because i had no reason to move them... *sniff*.

anyway, just wanted to give a little preview, now you know what i'll be doing this weekend (that would be surrounding myself in vintage-y goodness). have a great one!
